The City of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, in accordance with Title 11-52-70, Code of Alabama,
1975, has determined that some regulation of landscaping property will promote the
beauty and aesthetics of the City. Furthermore, the intent of these standards are:
to facilitate a harmonious and attractive environment; to prevent erosion; to capture
and treat drainage and stormwater runoff; to reduce glare, wind turbulence, carbon
monoxide, heat, and noise; to stabilize property values; and to generally preserve
and promote the establishment of a healthful and pleasant community.
